Council Member O' Donnell introduced the following resolution and <br />• moved its adoption: <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -10 <br />APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB APPLICATION FOR A <br />1 TO 4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 340, allows the city council to consider <br />a temporary on -sale liquor license for a non - profit organization in connection with a <br />social event sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has submitted an application to hold a <br />fundraising event at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, on March 3, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has paid the required fee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted a background investigation of <br />the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires the <br />application be approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting for <br />approval to the Liquor Control Board; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of the Lino Lakes Lions <br />Club for a temporary on -sale liquor license. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of February 13, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: O'Donnell, Roeser, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert <br />• The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
