• • Council Member Roc-Pier-1y introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 12-42 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 14 (MAIN STREET) AND I -35E INTERCHANGE WHEREAS, Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes previously entered into a joint powers agreement for the turnback of Lilac Street. WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has previously received $300,000 from the County as stipulated in the joint powers agreement. WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has requested Anoka County to include Lilac Street from Sunset road to 4th Avenue with the County's 2012 Reclamation projects. WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes agrees to refund the original $300,000 to the County and fund any additional costs required to complete this project. WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes section 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions to enter into joint powers agreements. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: The City Council hereby approves the amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the County of Anoka for the pavem amation and installation of new pavement on Lilac Street from Sunset Road to 4th Avenue an; aut.: 'zes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said agreement on behalf of t Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this /4 tlday of May, 2012.
