• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Rafferty <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -56 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR AUGUST 14, 2012 PRIMARY & <br />NOVEMBER 6, 2012 GENERAL ELECTION <br />a State Primary will be held on August 14, 2012 and a General Election will be <br />held on November 6, 2012; and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, subd. 2, election judges and a head <br />election judge for each precinct in a municipality shall be appointed by the <br />governing body of that municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 1, a list of eligible voters was <br />WHEREAS, the attached list of qualified individuals, if appointed, have agreed to serve as <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.25, election judges will receive training from <br />the Anoka County Elections and Voter Registration. <br />prepared; and <br />election judges; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the named persons on the attached list of <br />qualified individuals are hereby appointed to serve as election judges and head election judges <br />for the 2012 Primary Election and the 2012 General Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th d <br />ATTEST: <br />Bartell, C y Cle <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />O' Donnelland upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, O'Donnell, Roeser, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />o July, <br />Jeff Rein , rayor <br />
