COUNCIL MINUTES September 8, 2014 <br />APPROVED <br />181 COMMUNITY DEVELOP1VIENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />182 <br />183 6A) Talan Ridge: i. Resolution No. 14-95, Approving Final Plat; <br />184 ii. Resolution No. 14-96, Approving Development Contract <br />185 <br />186 City Planner Larsen reviewed a map showing the project location and site. The project involves the <br />187 subdivision of the property at 260 Linda Avenue to add two homes. The project has been reviewed <br />188 and meets conditions and criteria for a subdivision to move forward. <br />189 <br />190 Council Member Stoesz recalled that there were concerns brought forward by area residents about <br />191 Storni water management. City Engineer Hankee explained that she has met with the area residents <br />192 and explained the project plans to manage water. A ditch is planned that will relieve some of the <br />193 existing issues. The mayor recalled that when the residents came to the council previously, they <br />194 were assured that the city has reviewed the water situation and will take responsibility for <br />195 recommendations that have been made. <br />196 <br />197 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 14-95 and Resolution No. 14-96 as <br />198 presented. Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice <br />199 vote. <br />200 <br />201 6B) NorthPointe: i. Resolution No. 14-101, Approving Plans and Specifications and <br />202 Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for the NorthPointe Roadway and Utility Improvement <br />203 Project — City Engineer Hankee reviewed her report outlining the project. The project developer is <br />204 requesting these plans and specifications and is waiving the assessment process to accept the project <br />205 expenses for assessment to the benefiting properties. She reviewed the project schedule with <br />206 construction beginning in October of this year. <br />207 <br />208 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 14-101 as presented. Council Member <br />209 Kusteunan seconded the motion.
