Snow Removal:
• Snow removal can be a concern with this type of design. If they are going to pile the snow on-site
we should be conscious of where it is being stored. We want to avoid storing the snow in area
which will obstruct the view of traffic entering and exiting the complex. Additionally, we want
the snow to be stored in an area which does not affect the natural surveillance of the parking lot.
Lighting:
• I am unable to read the lighting plan for the business complex as it was not included with the full size
plan.A white LED shining down on the lot and canopy should be a good option, as long as it does not
alter the color of vehicles when viewed through the surveillance cameras. Wall packs are a good
option, but care should be used when installing them to not blind passing motorist and hinder natural
surveillance. Pole mounting is the best option as it does not hinder natural surveillance and allows for
a more uniform light pattern.
•
0 Page 2
