CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-109 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 14-52 AUTHORIZING <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />WELL NO. 6 PUMPING FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Comprehensive Water Supply Plan, construction of <br />Well No. 6 is planned for construction to meet the municipal water demand; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution No. 14-52, on June 9, 2014 authorizing WSB <br />and Associates to prepare plans and specification for the construction of the Well No. 6 Pumping <br />Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it would be more cost effective for Stantek Inc, <br />which is also preparing the plans and specifications for the construction of the well, to prepare <br />the Pumping Facility plans and specifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota that: <br />1. Stanteck Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for the project and is directed to prepare <br />plans and specifications for the Well No. 6 Pumping Facility for a cost not to exceed <br />$67,000. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the previous designation of WSB and Associates as <br />engineer for this project is hereby revoked. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22th day of September, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
