Wedel, City Engineer <br />MEETING DATE: January 28, 2013 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 13 -10, Approving No Parking <br />Designation, Otter Lake Road <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting the City Council approve a no parking designation for the sections of Otter <br />Lake Road included in the proposed roadway extension project in compliance with State Aid <br />Rules. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Final design has been completed for the improvements of the Otter Lake Road Extension Project. <br />Construction is anticipated to start in the spring of 2013. Based on the roadway design and State <br />Aid Rules on- street parking will not be allowed on the roadways. As part of the project <br />approvals the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires the local jurisdiction to <br />designate this restriction. <br />The designation for Otter Lake Road will apply Main Street (CSAH 14) to 400 feet to the north. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending adoption of Resolutions No. 13 -10, Approving the No Parking <br />Designation for Otter Lake Road. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
