• Council Member Reinert moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA RESOLUTION NO. 07 -04 APPROVING NORTHWOODS HUMANE SOCIETY APPLICATION FOR A 1 TO 4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute, Section 340, allows the city council to issue a temporary on -sale liquor license to a non - profit organization in connection with a social event sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and WHEREAS, Northwoods Humane Society has submitted an application to hold a fundraising event at Chomonix Golf Course, 646 Sandpiper Drive, on February 10, 2007; and WHEREAS, Northwoods Humane Society has paid the required fee, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of Northwoods Humane Society, and WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires the • application be approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting for approval to the liquor control board. • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of Northwood Humane Society for a temporary on -sale liquor license.
