• <br />AGENDA ITEM 6.B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Paul Bengtson <br />MEETING DATE: March 12, 2007 <br />TOPIC: Resolution 07 -41 <br />• Conditional Use Permit Amendment for Interim Improvements <br />• Preliminary Plat for a two lot commercial subdivision <br />• Motor Fuel Station and Car Wash Conditional Use Permits <br />Holiday Station stores - 7509 Lake Drive <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Lino Lakes in partnership with Anoka County and the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation are completing plans for the reconstruction of the Lake Drive and I -35W <br />Interchange. Construction is anticipated to start in April /May of 2007. During the past year the <br />City has been working with adjacent property owners to acquire needed right -of -way for the <br />project. In addition to right of way acquisition from the Holiday property the City will be <br />removing the two existing accesses from Lake Drive as part of the project. New access to the <br />store will be provided from the proposed westerly extension of Town Center Parkway. Holiday <br />has been supportive of the road improvement project and acquisition process.
