September 28, 1981 <br />carried unanimously. <br />79 <br />PUBLIC HEARING - FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS <br />This public hearing was called to order and due to a delay in publication, <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to continue this hearing to the Special Meeting schedul- <br />ed for October 5, 1981 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />There was a recess at this point in the meeting. The meeting reconvened. <br />ATTORNEY's REPORT <br />Mr. Locher had no report <br />FINANCIAL REPORT - AUGUST <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the financial report and answered questions that <br />Council members had. <br />PRELIMINARY BUDGET <br />This is for Council information only and will be considered in details at <br />the hearing scheduled for October 5, 1981.. Mayor Gourley said that this <br />meeting is necessary in order to certify the levy to the County by the 10th <br />of October. The budget cannot be finalized until 10 days after the public <br />hearing on the budgetary use of the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. Mr. McLean <br />Imoved to set budget discussion for October 5, 1981. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD APPOINTMENTS <br />This Board needs two members and there are only two applications. Mayor <br />Gourley asked what the Council eishes were in this matter - should members <br />be recruited by Council members? more advertising? <br />The general consensus of the Council was that the Clerk run a publication <br />in the Circulating Pines, Forest Lake Times and White Bear Press. <br />REDESIGNATION OF 80TH STREET <br />This street should be considered as a thoroughfare in that it connects two <br />county roads. <br />Mayor Gourley moved to present the traffic count information to the County <br />for approval of redesignation and County maintenance. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />The City administrator was asked to write a Resolution to that effect. <br />AUDIT BID FOR 1981 AUDIT <br />IMr. McLean moved to table consideration of this until it is known what effect <br />the petitioned State Audit may have on the overall audit of the City. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unsnimously. <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR's RECOMMENDATION ON OLD LOTS OF RECORD <br />This concern deals basically with the lots in Lakes Add. #1 which are lake <br />
