1 <br />November 16, 1981 <br />carried unanimously. <br />FINANCIAL REPORTS <br />Mr. Schumacher suggested that consideration of these reports be delayed to <br />be discussed at the next budget meeting. <br />BUDGET MEETING <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to set a budget meeting for November 17, 1981 at <br />7:30 P.M. Mrs. Elsenpeter pointed out that Mayor Gourley and Mr. Jaworski <br />will be unable to attend and she will be late. Mr. McLean said this work <br />must be completed and felt that the meeting should be scheduled. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to set a working busget meeting for Tuesday, <br />November 17, 1981 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. McLean moved to acceptthe resignation of Mr. Ronald Jaworski as a <br />member of the Council to become effective December 1, 1981 and to forward <br />to Mr. Jaworski a letter of Thanks from this City and Council. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLICATION OF NOTICE. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter asked if the notice of this resignation had been published <br />along with the request for candidate application, in only one paper, and <br />the Clerk said, Yes. The Clerk was instructed to put this notice in the <br />Forest Lake Times and the White Bear Press. <br />1 <br />LETTERS OF THANKS TO CABLE TV ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS <br />Mr. Elsenpeter asked if letters had been sent to those persons and was <br />told they had not been. She requested this be done. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - ACCEPTANCE OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter asked Mr. Locher what the law says as to the necessity of <br />holding a public hearing on this matter. <br />Mr. McLean said that a public hearing had been approved by this Council <br />so there is no question on whether it is required by law. <br />Mr. Elesenpeter requested that the public hearing he held on November 30, <br />1981. Mr. McLean fet this is a very large issue and a lot of things to <br />go through. He asked that this matter be discussed at the budget hearing <br />on Tuesday night. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 9:30 P.M. Seconded by MR. Kulaszewicz.
