124 <br />January 4, 1982 <br />Mr. Marier moved to interview - to second J1r, Elsenpetex "s motion to <br />interview for Attorney. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz agreed with this process. He also pointed out that this <br />matter had not been publicized. <br />After some further discussion, the motion carried with Mayor Benson <br />abstaining. <br />Mr. Reinert moved that the Enigneer and the Planner be set up to follow <br />the same procedure. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried. <br />The time for this to be discussed - several times were suggested. It was <br />finally decided that the Council will meet at 5:00 P.M. on January 11, <br />1982 for these interviews. <br />REESTABLISHMENT OF THE POLICE ADVISORY BOARD <br />Mayor Benson noted that he plans to re- establish this Board and present <br />names for this Board. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz volunteered to do an in -depth sutdy on this matter to <br />decide if this should be a Police Commission or an Advisory Board. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve this action. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. <br />Motion carried unanimously. Report to be presented at the January 25, <br />1982 meeting. <br />A recess was called at this point in the meeting. The meeting reconvened <br />WEED INSPECTOR <br />Mr. Marier moved to appoint Mr. Allan Robinson to this position. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />FIRE MARSHAL <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to appoint Mr. Bruce Macdonald to this position. <br />Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR. <br />Mr. Marier moved to appoint Mr. Charles Cape to this position. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY HEALTH OFFICER <br />Mr. Marier moved to appoint the Anoka County Health Department to this <br />position. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER <br />Three papers had submitted bids for this, - Circulating Pines, Forest <br />Lake Times. and Blaine Life. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the Circulating Pines as the Official <br />Newspaper of the City for an interium period. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
