.58 <br />Council Meeting <br />March 8, 1982 <br />MINUTES - FEBRUARY 22, 1982 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter corrected the minutes as follows; page two, 6th paragraph, <br />after the word 'license' and 'would not be in the best interest of the <br />citizens of Lino Lakes'; page three, 4th paragraph, under 'Squad Car <br />Bids' delete the sentence following the figure of $10,907.00 and insert <br />'investigate for the possibility of the rebate'; there were several <br />gramatical corrections. <br />Mr. Marier, page 6, paragraph 11, should beH.under New Business. <br />Mr. Reinert pointed that these minutes are a draft and are retyped, <br />therefore, the important thing is to get the proper intent of the minutes. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mrs. <br />Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - February 28, 1982 /March 8, 1982 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the Disbursements as presented. Seconded by <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Mr. Clarence Sharpen, 801 Main St., was here to speak on the DNR calssifying <br />25 acres of his land as wet lands. He felt the two new developments in <br />the area is a contributing factor and County Ditch #32 should be opened <br />thus allowing the water to run off. <br />Mr. Hawkins noted that the City has no control of this action - this <br />authority was granted to DNR by the State Legislature. He suggested that <br />Mr. Sharpen contact DNR. <br />Mr. Reinert suggested Mr. Sharpen contact the regional hydrologist from <br />the DNR and ask him to imspect the property. Mr. Schumacher supplied the <br />name for Mr. Sharpen. <br />CHANGE OF AGENDA ITEMS <br />Mr. Reinert moved Item #6 to just after Item #12 and moved Item #11 to <br />just after Item #7. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON STATE AUDITOR's REPORT <br />All Council members have a copy of this report. There was a question on <br />if the final costs had been received and Mr. Schumacher said, No, but <br />felt he could have them by the next meeting. This hearing was scheduled <br />for March 22, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. and the notice will be published in the <br />paper. <br />CABLE TV STATUS REPORT AND VIDEO PRESENTATION <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter reported on the video tape noting this was done by the <br />Mayor of Fridley. This tape will show why this Mayor felt that Cable <br />TV was important to his City. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter noted there are alimited number of copies of the needs <br />1 <br />
