260 <br />November 8, 1982 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order at 7:00 P.M., November 8, 1982 by Mayor Benson with all <br />members present. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher and Mrs. Sarner were <br />also present. <br />MINUTES - OCTOBER 25, 1982 <br />Nr. Reinert moved to 'approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - OCTOBER 31, 1982 /NOVEMBER 8, 1982 <br />The October 31, 1982 Disbursements were considered. Mr. Elsenpeter <br />moved to approve as presented. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Mayor Benson <br />questioned the mileage to the MFOA meeting which Mr. Schumacher ans- <br />wered. Motion to approve carried unanimously. <br />November 8, 1982 - Mrs. Elsenpeter questioned the check for the carpet <br />and installation - has this been done? Mr. Schumacher said, No. <br />There was some discussion on who is doing the work and is he competent? <br />Is there a guarantee in writing? It was generallrg' concluded that a <br />guarantee should be obtained before the work has begun. <br />Mr. Reinert questioned the schedule for employees attending training <br />courses and Mr. Schumacher said the Police Department has a schedule, <br />as does Mr. Volk for his employees and the Administration also knows <br />when seminars are scheduled for the coming year. Once in a while, a <br />one day seminar is available that is not on the schedule. Basically <br />these training sessions are budgeted. <br />Mr. Marier questioned the statement from TKDA - part pertaining to <br />platting. The Clerk supplied the statement for his inspection. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the disbursements. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried with Mayor Benson and Mr. Marier voting, <br />No. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />There was no one present to speak and there was no one from the <br />audience. <br />CLERK's REPORT <br />The Clerk presented a summary on the Election and some recommendations <br />for adding voting equipment and the consideration of splitting the <br />precinct. <br />There was discussion on these matters, obtaining another voting placs, <br />the splitting line, preparation of maps and a mailing notifying voters <br />of their precinct and voting place. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to have the Clerk prepare a cost analysis for 1) <br />a single precinct and 2) having two precincts. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
