1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />November 8, 1982 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 57D <br />261 <br />The Ordinance amends the sewer Ordinance in regards to the increase in <br />sewer rates approved at ,the last Council meeting. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to accept this Ordinance and waive the reading. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ATTORNEY's REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins reported on a letter received from Mr. Locher in reference <br />to the Wilson case. It would seem that Mr. Wilson's Attorney is asking <br />for a meeting next week for the purpose of negotiating a settlement. Mr. <br />Hawkins didn't understand since Mr. Wilson lost his case. He will check <br />into this. <br />Mr. Hawkins had no other matters to report. <br />WATER DEPARTMENT's WATER SUPPLY RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Mr. Volk has put some estimates together for Council information in <br />reference to complying with the State Health Department's recommendations. <br />Mayor Benson asked that these figures be considered at the budget <br />meeting scheduled for November 15, 1982. <br />AUDIT PROPOSAL <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the Council with proposals from seven auditing <br />firms. He had also prepared a matrix for the Council to use to rate the <br />firms. He suggested that these proposals be considered at the budget <br />meeting on the 15th. <br />Mr. Marier moved to table consideration of the proposals until Nov. 22, <br />1982 meeting and asked that each Council member call Mr. Schumacher with <br />his input this coming week. Seconded by Mr. Reinert.' Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MR. VOGT's ARCHITECTURAL CONTRACT <br />Mr. Ed Vogt has a contract with the City to prepare drawings for the <br />Senior Citizen Center. He had discussed the projected expansion needs <br />of the City Hall with the Department heads and is asking the Council if <br />they wish him to do this planning at the same time. <br />Mr. Vogt presented his drawings of the existing building, the Senior <br />Citizen Center apart but connected to the West, and a drawing of the <br />construction of a new Council Chamber to. the South connected with the <br />Senior Citizen Center. There was also discussion of the use of the <br />existing building by moving some departments to alterante locations. <br />Mr. Vogt had forwarded a bid in the amount of $1250.00 for this add- <br />itional work. <br />Mr. Marier asked Mr. Vogt to itemized his hours on this work. <br />Mr. Reinert felt that since there is an addition being planned, it <br />
