November 8, 1982 <br />GVu <br />Mr. Reinert moved to check for the time limit and to notify the <br />candidates_ if the signs are still there at that time. Seconded by Mr. <br />Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mortgage Revenue Bonds was discussed. Mr. Schumacher explained these <br />bonds and Mr. Harvey Karth answered some questions from the Council. <br />There are public hearing requirements and Mr. Schumacher had obtained a <br />copy of a Resolution from our Bond Counsel on the procedure that must <br />be followed. <br />Since members of the Council were unsure of this, they requested Mr. <br />Hawkins send them a copy of the law. Mr. Reinert moved to table this <br />matter until November 15, 1982 agenda. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mayor Benson noted that he had received a letter concerned with Mr. Ken <br />Buck who wishes to participate in the Winter Olympics for the Deaf that <br />is to be held in Italy. He needs $1800.00 to be able to attend. Mayor <br />Benson suggested contacting some of the service organizations for <br />assistance. He also requested that perhaps the papers could make note <br />of this. <br />Mayor Benson reported that he had received a letter from Mr. Al Schroeder <br />and he had made a copy for each Council member. Mr. Schroeder asked to <br />have a letter he had written revoked. Mr. Schumacher will take care of <br />this. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn at 9:20 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Aye. <br />These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at a regular <br />Council meeting held on November 22, 1982. <br />Edna L.
