X72 <br />Council Meeting <br />November 22, 1982 <br />Mr. Volk recommended the acceptance of the low bid from Feed -Rite in the amount of <br />$3,475.00. Mr. Reinert moved to approve the purchase of this equipment from the low <br />bidder. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Mayor Benson asked if there had been any contact with the animal control from White <br />Bear Township and the Clerk replied that she had not seen any correspondence from them. <br />Mr. Schumacher is to be contacted on this. <br />Also, to inform Mr. Schumacher of the meeting with the Fire Study Committee on <br />November 29, 1982. <br />Mayor Benson also noted the Action Alert received from the League of Cities on the <br />possible cuts in the State Aid. He asked that Mr. Schumacher get information on this <br />and send out on the 6th. <br />Mayor Benson noted that a letter had been received from the Sell Publishing requesting <br />a packet such as the Council's packet be prepared fro their reporter and sent to them <br />prior to the meeting. This will be discussed at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Benson had also received a letter noting there is a meeting concerned with parks - <br />both County and Municipal - at the Bunker Hills Activity Center on Wednesday, <br />December 1, 1982. He felt that someone, perhaps from the Park Board should attend <br />this meeting. <br />Mr. Al Ross, from the audience, asked that the Council look into new entrance to <br />the City signs. <br />He also noted that he did not appreciate having the new paper stuck on his mailbox <br />and end up in the ditch. He felt that permission whould have been requested. <br />Mayor Benson noted that Mr. Schumacher will be asked to pursue the City entrance signs. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 9:25 P.M. Sarner, Clerk - Treasurer <br />Council Meeting <br />December 13, 1982 <br />The Regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M., <br />December 13, 1982 by Mayor Benson with all members present with the exception of <br />Mr. Reinert. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher, Chief Myhre, Mr. Kluegel and Mrs. Sarner <br />were also present. <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 22, 1982 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to table consideration of these minutes since a quorum of the <br />members present at that meeing were not present at this meeting.
