16 March 2R, 1983 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M., March 28, 1983, by Mayor Benson with all members present. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher, Mr. Kluegel and Mr. Volk were also present. MINUTES - March 14, 1983 Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Mayor Benson moved to amend the minutes by inserting his summary of the facts on the Special Use Permit discussion. Mr. Marier accepted as did Mr. Kulaszewicz. The amendment carried unanimously. The motion on the minutes as corrected carried unanimously. DISBURSEMENTS - March 2g, 1983 Mr. Reinert moved to approve the disbursements as presented. Second - ed by Mr. Marier. Mrs. Elsenpeter questioned the allocation of the postage for the bulk mailing which was explained. The motion to approve the disbursements carried unanimously. OPEN MIKE There was no one to speak under this portion of the agenda. SPECUAL USE PERMITS AND REZONINGS Mr. Schumacher reported that all Special Use Permits are being used with the exception of the one to Jan Kutzner, which has not been out of operation for a year. The rezonigs have many that are not being used for what they were re- zoned for. There was some discsssion of the effect the new zoning ordinance and district map will have on these. Alist of 16 that will be directly affected had been prepared. After some discussion on this matter. it was the consensus of the Council not to discuss these rezonings until after the zoning map and ordinance has been adopted. Mayor Benson suggested discussing Agenda Item #7 - the setting of a Public Hearing on these documents - at this time. Mr. Marier moved to set a Public Hearing for consideration of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning District Map for April 19, 1983 at 7:00 P.M., also that all persons on the list of affected properties be notified by mail of the meeting, stating that their present class- ification could be changed. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewciz. Motion carried unanimously. ATTORENY's REPORT Mr. Hawkins had no report other than the concilation Court claim. Mr. Schumacher will apprea to represent the City.
