20 <br />April 11, 1983 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order a 7:05 P.M., April 11, 1983, by Mayor Benson with all Council <br />members present. Mr. Schumacher, Mr. Davidson, and Mrs. Sarner <br />were also present. Mr. Hawkins was absent. <br />MINUTES - March 28, 1983 <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. <br />Mayor Benson questioned the statement under the Attorney's report - <br />This should read "Mr. Schumacher will represent the City /" <br />The correction was accepted by Mr. Reinert and Mr. Marier. Motion <br />to approve as corrected carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - 3/31/83 - 4/11/83 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to approve the eisbursements for March 31, 1983 <br />as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimoulsy. <br />April 11, 1983 - Mr. Marier asked if the expenses relating to the <br />Clerk's Conference was in line with the policy and Mr. Schumacher <br />explained. Mayor Benson questioned the vouchers for the Police <br />officers - it was explained these are for lunches and mileage to <br />attend classes and are within the policy guidelines. Mayor Benson <br />requested that notations be made in regards to such reimbursements. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the disbursements for April 11, 1983 as <br />presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Mr. Peter Scherer had requested to speak in regards to a water pro- <br />blem on 64th street. He explained this problem to the Council. <br />Mr. Marier felt this has been a problem for several years. Mr. Marier <br />moved that Mr. Volk and Mr. Kluegel take a look at this problem and <br />make an assessment. They should also talke to Mr. Scherer and the <br />other residents in the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Reinert suggested this matter be discussed with the City Attorney. <br />Mr. Marier added to his motion that this report be ready for the <br />nit Council meeting. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESIGNATION - JACK RECTOR <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to accept this resignation with a letter of <br />thanks for his many years of service to the City. Seconded by Mr. <br />Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WAYS & MEANS RECOMMENDATIONS - MON CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES <br />Mr. Schumacher explained the contents of the prepared report that was <br />presented to the Council members, noting that the last page contains <br />recommendations for a 4 year salary plan.
