38 Joint Meeting May 3, 1983 The Task Force felt this property was too far from the GB area to carry that type of zoning. Mr. Jim Schaffer - representing the Chamber of Commerce - just a general statement supporting the businesses of the area. Lyle Carpenter - Auto salvage on Lake Drive - wanted to retain his LI zoning. This operation is a conditional use in GI zoning. The type of zoning would depent on whether this operation is to be expanded or remain as is. Bill Flannigan - Auto repair adjacent tothe Tire Shop on Orange - this was to be zoned GB. The general consensus of the Council was that if the residents pre- sent definite plans at the continued Public Hearing, then it could be considered at that time. Mr. Reinert moved to set the continued Public Hearing for May 24, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. Notices to be forwarded to all residents concerned and publication of the notice to be in the 'legal paper for two weeks. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting was adjourned. These minutes were considered and approved at a regular Council meeting held on June 13, 1983. Edna L. Sarner, Clerk Beni min . : =nson, Mayor May 17, 1983 The Board of Review was called to order at 7:00 P.M., May 17, 1983 by Acting Mayor Marier with Council Members Elsenpeter and Reinert present. Mayor Benson and Kulaszewicz were absent. Margie Roisum, City Assessor, intorduced herself and Mr. Bob Wiseberg, from the County Assessor's Office. Mrs. Roisum noted the purpose of this meeting is to discuss the valuations placed on the property for 1983. She asked anyone who had questions on the taxes payable 1983 to wait until the end of the meeting and she will try to answer their questions. Mr. Darrell Phillips of 158 Marvy Street had a question as to how the value of the property is computed. Mrs. Roisum explained. Mr. Phillips asked how much of the value is land and how much is structure? Mrs. Roisum gve him the figures. Mr. Phillips felt that either he was over valused or some frineds of his are under valued - he gave the particulars of the two homes noting that the valuations are only about $2000.00 apart. Mrs. Roisum said she would be glad to check the other home.
