Transfer $1142.70 from 1980 Certificates of Indebtedness <br />( #302) and $1290.02 from 1981 Certificates of Indebtedness <br />( #303) to General Fund ( #101). Total amount to be trans- <br />ferred $2,432.72. <br />2. Transfer from G.O. Improvement Bonds, 1980, #80 -10, the <br />amount of $1247.24. $131.40 to be transferred to 1977 <br />General Obligations Improvement Bonds #77 -01, and $1115.84 <br />to be transferred to 1982 General Obligation Improavement <br />Bonds #82 -01. Total amount to be transferred $1247.24. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City -6f Lino Lakes this 27th day of June, <br />1983. <br />Edna <br />er, City Clerk <br />The motion was seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />AREAS TO BE MONITORED PER THE AUDITOR <br />Mr. "Schumacher reported on these areas that were suggested by the <br />Auditor to be monitored. The areas listed were discussed briefly. <br />The general consensus of the Council was that the-majority of these items <br />are in -house procedures. <br />Mr. Reinert asked 'what kind of pla ?' in reference to No. 5 - Mr. <br />Schumacher felt this should be done at budget time in accordance with <br />what surplut the Councils-felt they should maintain. <br />Mr.Reinert suggested Mr. Schumacher prepare several plans for :Council <br />consideration. <br />There was discussion on the maintaining of accurate and timely document <br />tion of minutes and Resolutions. <br />Mayor Benson noted that this is an area where work precessing would' be <br />useful. This had been discussed with the Clerk previously and Mayor <br />Benson felt this is an area that could be checked. <br />Mr. Reinert asked about No. 10 and Mr. Schumacher expalined, when there <br />are only two persons in ce office, itis difficult to have a proper <br />'checks and balance' system. Mr. Reinert felt this would be another <br />area for use of a computer. He would like to discuss No. 5 and No. 10 <br />in more detail, possible during budget meetings. <br />CLERKS' REPORT <br />
