64 June 27, 1983 The Clerk reported on the correction of house numbers on the East /West portion of Ottet Lake Road and will be peer as Otter Lake Drive. The street from County Road J to County Road #14 will be posted as Otter Lake Road. She noted that only one compalint and been received from that area. However, the residents of Ash Street are still using the old numbers, which are completely out of order. Mr. Reinert suggested having one of the officers stop and talk to these persons, particularly the lady who had written the letter to the Council. Mrs. Elsenpeter asked if there is a need for an Ordinance to change 22nd Avenue to Otter Lake Road? Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to ahve the City Attorney research and if necessary, write an Ordinance to change the name to "Otter Lake Road ". Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion carried unanimously. I.M.A.C. Retirement Fund- Resolution #83 -21. The Clerk explained this is a retirement fund with no obligations to the City. It is the employees choice as to whether they participate in or not and there is no set amount that must be deposited in the fund. Mr. Marier moaned to waive the reading of the Resolution and approve Resolution #83 -21 as presented: RESOLUTION # 83 -21 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN. WHEREAS. the City of Lino Lakes has in its employ certain personnel, and WHEREAS, said employees are and will be rendering valuable services to the City of Lino Lakes, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes ahs considered the establishment of a Deferred Compensation Plan for the said employees made available to the City of Lino Lakes and to said employees by the Inter- national City Management Association Retirement Corporation, and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, said employees often are unagle to acquire retirement security under other existing and available retirement plans due to the contingencies of employment mobility, and the City of Lino Lakes receives benefits under said plans by being able to assure reasonable retirement security to said employees by being more able to attract competent personnel to its service and by increasing its flexibility in personnel management through elimination of the need for continued employment for the sole purpose of allowing an employee to qualify for retirement benefits. NOW THEREFORE BI IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes establish said Deferred Compensation Plan for said employees and hereby authorizes its' Mayor to execute the Deferred Compensation Plan with the International Clty Management Association Retirement Corporation attached hereto as Appendix A, and
