64 <br />June 27, 1983 <br />The Clerk reported on the correction of house numbers on the East /West <br />portion of Ottet Lake Road and will be peer as Otter Lake Drive. <br />The street from County Road J to County Road #14 will be posted as Otter <br />Lake Road. She noted that only one compalint and been received from that <br />area. <br />However, the residents of Ash Street are still using the old numbers, <br />which are completely out of order. <br />Mr. Reinert suggested having one of the officers stop and talk to these <br />persons, particularly the lady who had written the letter to the Council. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter asked if there is a need for an Ordinance to change 22nd <br />Avenue to Otter Lake Road? <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to ahve the City Attorney research and if necessary, <br />write an Ordinance to change the name to "Otter Lake Road ". Seconded by <br />Mr. Reinert. Motion carried unanimously. <br />I.M.A.C. Retirement Fund- Resolution #83 -21. The Clerk explained this is <br />a retirement fund with no obligations to the City. It is the employees <br />choice as to whether they participate in or not and there is no set amount <br />that must be deposited in the fund. <br />Mr. Marier moaned to waive the reading of the Resolution and approve <br />Resolution #83 -21 as presented: <br />RESOLUTION # 83 -21 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN. <br />WHEREAS. the City of Lino Lakes has in its employ certain personnel, and <br />WHEREAS, said employees are and will be rendering valuable services to <br />the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes ahs considered the establishment of a <br />Deferred Compensation Plan for the said employees made available <br />to the City of Lino Lakes and to said employees by the Inter- <br />national City Management Association Retirement Corporation, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />said employees often are unagle to acquire retirement security <br />under other existing and available retirement plans due to the <br />contingencies of employment mobility, and <br />the City of Lino Lakes receives benefits under said plans by <br />being able to assure reasonable retirement security to said <br />employees by being more able to attract competent personnel to <br />its service and by increasing its flexibility in personnel <br />management through elimination of the need for continued <br />employment for the sole purpose of allowing an employee to <br />qualify for retirement benefits. <br />NOW THEREFORE BI IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes establish said <br />Deferred Compensation Plan for said employees and hereby authorizes its' <br />Mayor to execute the Deferred Compensation Plan with the International <br />Clty Management Association Retirement Corporation attached hereto as <br />Appendix A, and <br />
