June 27, 1983 <br />Mr. Schumacher requested authorization to use S.B.A. for investments <br />and explained precedures of this organization. The Council had some <br />questions that Mr. Schumacher answered. <br />Mayor Benson asked for some specific information on this so the <br />Council could make an intellignet decision. <br />Mr. Reinert suggested this be presented to our Auditor and ask him <br />for the specific information on this firm. <br />Mr.. Schumacher reported that Mrs. Langfeld had negotiated the sale of <br />the lots (10) on Black Duck for $100.00 per lot. <br />Mr. Reinert asked why these lots are not just deeded over to the City? <br />Why not $1.00? The general consensus of the Council was to ask the <br />County. <br />Mr. Schumacher reported on the location of the BMX Track - is this to be <br />as close to Luther's as possible? and the Council members said, Yes. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter felt the new storage building and the BMX Track are <br />blocking the entrance tothe park thorugh the gate. Mr. Volk is to <br />check this out. <br />The Letter from Mrs. Munoz asking for signs to be posted on Ash Street - <br />Mr. Schumacher said 'Children at Play' signs cannot be posted. The <br />sooed signs cannot be posted by the City since the State posts all <br />speed signs. <br />The Council requested Chief Myhre to stop and talk to Mrs. Minoz <br />on these requests and also to suggest that she change her house <br />number. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to adjourn.
