65 <br />June 27, 1983 <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk- Treasurer may, on behalf <br />of the City execute all Joinder Agreements with said employees and <br />other eligible officials and officers, which are necessary for said <br />persons participation in the Plan, an example of which appears as <br />Appendix B except that any Joiner Agreement for said designated official <br />sahll be executed by the Mayor. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of June, <br />1983. <br />Edna L. Sarner, City Clerk <br />The motion was seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AFFECTING CITY <br />Mr, Schumacher noted that he wanted to present the issues that have been <br />passed that will have an affect on this City. <br />Mr. Reinert interrupted to suggest that perhaps this should be done by <br />the State Ligislators. He felt he would like to hear what they have to <br />say on some of the legislation. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to extend an invitation of Sen. Dahl and Rep. Quinn to <br />appear at a Council meeting to discuss the current legislation. Seconded <br />by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Extension of Reiling Road. - Mr. Schumacher aksed that this be tabled. <br />Mr. Marier moved to table this item until the Jull 11, 1983 agenda. <br />Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Reinert asked that the Council read the 'Joint Powers Agreement' and <br />if they have comments, please forward to him. He felt this should be <br />presented to the City Attorney for checking soon. <br />Mr. Schumacher recommended that the City Engineer also review this <br />document. <br />This item will be on the July 11, 1983 agenda. <br />Mr. Reinert reported on the League of Minnesota Cities convention and <br />han some material to be copied for the remainder of the Council. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />1 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to direct the City Attorney to research the new <br />Zoning Ordiannce for exemption from Referendum. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
