August 8, 1983
Mayor Benson asked if the 49 Club is getting the required fence in-
stalled and Mr. Schumacher reported that according to the Building
Official, the fence should be installed this week.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Schumacher reminded the Council of the Chamber of Commerce
meeting at Bert's at 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Schumacher noted that when the public hearing was held on the new
zoning map, the classification of LI was left at the Molin Concrete
Plat. Mr. Molin has been in the process of obtaining permission from
the Rice Creek Watershed Board for the erection of an extension of his
building. When the Ordinance was checked it was found this property
is in the wrong classification - should be zoned GI for this type of
operation. Mr. Schumacher requested that a Public Hearing be set to
correct this oversight and rezone this property to GI.
Mr. Reinert moved to set a Public Hearing, August 29, 1983 at 7:15 P.M.
Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Schumacher reported that Cheif Myhre and he had spent quite a bit
of time interviewing for the Police Patrolman's position. He would
like to set up some time - an hour before the next Council meeting -
for the Council members to talk with the finalist. The Council agreed.
Mr. Schumacher asked if the Council would want to go through the
financial report tonight and the consensus was to table.
Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter.
Aye. 10:00 P.M.
These minutes were considered and approved at a regular Council meeting
held on August 22, 1983.
b./e,a- /),L4L---i)
Edna L.
