106 Council Meeting September 12, 1983 City. After some discussion, Mr. Reinert moved to increase the Council member's salary by $600.00 per year and the Mayor's salary by $700.00 per year to bring the salaries in line with other Metro area communities of similar size, plus expenses. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. ($25 00.00 per year - Mayor; $2100.00 per year - Council) BUDGET MEETING The budget meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 1983 at 6:00 P.M. at the Lino Lakes City Hall. The Auditor will be present. Mayor Benson requested that Mr. Schumacher put together the figures necessary and to set a schedule for the meetings necessary to finalize the budget. It was note that the new Police Officer, Victor Poyer, started this week. Mayor Benson had received a letter from Me W eible which will be copied and mailed to the Council members. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn at 10:05 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Aye These minutes were considered and approved at a regular Council meeting held on September 26, 1983. )11)1. na L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer Council Meeting September 26, 1983 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M., September 26, 1983 by Mayor Benson with all members present with the exception of Mr. Reinert. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher, Mr. Kluegel, and Mrs. Sarner were also preesnt. MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 12. 1983 Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the minutes of September 12, 1983 as presented. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Mayor Benson questioned Mr. Schumacher on the information requested in conneciton with the building inspector's contract and MR. Schumacher said he had not had time to compile those figures. Mayor Benson asked that they be ready for the next meeting. Motion carried with Mr. Marier abstaining. 1
