1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Council Meeting <br />September 26, 1983 <br />for the first reading. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />with Mrs. Elsenpeter voting, No. <br />111 <br />Ordiannce #11 -83 sets the Salaries for the Council members and the Mayoar, <br />and this is the Second Reading. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to waivethe reading <br />and approve Ordiannce #11 -83. Seconded by Mayor Benson. On. voting, <br />Mayor Benson, Kulaszewicz - Aye; Marier - No; Elsenpeter - Abstain. <br />Motion failed. <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to wiave the reading of this Agreement and to approve <br />the Joint Powers Agreement of the Water Management of the Vadnais Lake <br />Area Watershed. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WOLTERS REZONE - ORDINANCE #09 -83 <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to appraove Ordinance #09 -83 rezoning Lot 21, Block 2, <br />Carole's Estates II from GB (General Business) to LI (Light Industiral). <br />Seconded by Mr Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING- FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS <br />Mr. Marier moved to set a Public Hearing to take input on the propsoed <br />usage of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for 1984 on October 24, 1983 at <br />9:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Mayor Benson noted that he had received letters in reference to the <br />informational meeting held on teh Rice Lake Estates propsoed sewer <br />district. He suggested the Council members put these in their information <br />file on that plat. <br />Mr. Schumacher asked if there was any area that the staff whould be working <br />on in connection with that plat and Mayor Benson said the only suggestion <br />thathe had heard was the possibility of connecting with Circel Pines. <br />Mayor Benson commented on Ord. #11 -83 - noting that it would be 1986 <br />before any salary adjustemnt could be made. He felt it is improtant <br />that this be done in order to bring this City in line with the rest of the <br />Metropolitan area. Mayor Benson suggested, that since Mr. Reinert moved <br />this Ordinance, and he is not present at this meeting, that this be put on <br />an agenda in order for Mr. Reinert to be present. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to put this on the September 28, 1983 agenda. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Marier.
