Sarner, City Clerk <br />enson, Mayor <br />Council Meeting <br />January 9, 1984 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order at 7:00 P.M., January 9, 1984 by Mayor Benson with all members <br />present. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher, Chief Myhre, Mr. Volk and Mrs. <br />Sarner were also present. <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />Mr. Hawkins administered the Oath of Officer to the elected officials. <br />Mr. Benson was sworn in as Mayor and Mr. Marier and Mr. Bohjanen were <br />sworn in as Council Members. <br />MINUTES - December 27, 1983 <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - December 29. 1983 - January 9, 1984 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the disbursements of December 29, 1983 as <br />presented. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion carried with Mr. Bohjanen <br />and Mr. Kulaszewicz abstaining. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the disbursements of January 9, 1984 as <br />presented. Seconded by Mr, Kulaszewicz. Motion carried with Mr. <br />Bohjanen abstaining. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />There was no one who wished to appear under this protion of the agenda. <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS <br />Joanne Wright, Administrator of these Grant Funds for Anoka County was <br />present at this meeting to discuss the use of these Funds with the <br />Council. <br />MR. Schumacher gave a brief summary of the discussions prior to this <br />meeting concerned with the areas in which these funds were being <br />considered. The possibility of use in connection with the fire service <br />district; and use in connection with the extension of a trunk sewer line. <br />
