186 Council Meeting February 27, 1984 Mr. Bohjanen moved that no matter how this land is sold, if it is, the money received is to be deposited in the Dedicated Park Fund for use in the Parks. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Mrs. Lois Tuckner, owner of the lands to the East of this property, said they want to plat and had suggested that a parcel of their land be exchanged for this park property and buy back this park. There was discussion on the possibility that the City may be unable to sell this land due to the manner is which it had been received. The Council suggested that Mrs. Tuckner proceed with her platting and present to the Planning and Zoning Board for their consideration. The matter of the deed to this land will be researched by the staff. On ovting on the motion, the motion carried unanimously. The Council returned to the Agenda. CONSIDERATION OF THE 49er's 1984/85 CONTRACT 1 Mr. Schumacher had prepared a copy of the Contract for all Council members. He briefly noted the changes in the language of the Contract. The salary increas for 1984 is 5 %, the clothing allowance is raised from $50.00 to $100.00 and 66% of the family insurance coverage is to be paid by this City. The figure on the insurance becomes a cap figure in 1985. The salary increase in 1985 is 4 %. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve this Contract as presented. Seconded by MR. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. CONSIDERATION OF CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION FOR NON UNION AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES Mr. Schumacher presented the recommendations of the Ways & Means Committee for salary adjustments for the personnel in these areas. There was some discussion on the City Administrator's salary and on the Police Chief and Sergeant. Members of the Ways and Means Committee requested that the Administrator's salary adjustment be tabled until the next meeting for some clarification. The Police Chief and Sergeant will be notified of their salary adjustment when the Police Task Force has completed their study. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the recommendations of the Ways and Means Committee with the exception of the City Administrator's salary. Seconded by Mr. Marier, noting that this item will be on the next atenda. Motion carried unanimously. GOALS AND GUIDELINES - POLICE TASK FORCE Mr. Marier reported to the Council this body had met on February 21, 1984 and had discussed some areas for study.
