195 <br />March 12, 1984 <br />RICE LAKE ESTATES FINANCIAL REPORT -- Mr. Davidson <br />Mr. Davidson presented a supplemental report on the financing of the <br />utilities for this project. This report was prepared in conjunction with <br />the previous meeting held with the potential developers in the area. <br />The very basicsof this report was considered, with the general consensus <br />of the Council that a meeting should be scheduled with the developers <br />to go through the report in detail. <br />After some discussion, the Special meeting was set for March 27, 1984 <br />at 5:30 P.M. The Clerk is to notify all developers of this meeting. <br />CLERK's REPORT <br />The Clerk presented a request from Getty Refining Company for an Off -Sale <br />3.2% Beer License at the station on Lake Drive and I35W. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the issuance of this lecense. Seconded <br />by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk presented REsolution #84 -10 - Records Retention Schedule - for <br />consideration and approval by the Council. <br />The Resolution sets the time that records must be kept, the ones that may <br />be destroyed and the number of years to be kept before destroying. <br />RESOLUTION # 84 -10 <br />A RESOLUTION ALLOWING FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS MAINTAINED <br />BY THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, M.S. 138.163 reads as follows: <br />It is the policy of the legislature that the disposal and <br />preservation of public records be controlled exclusively by <br />Chapter 138 and by Laws 1971, Chapter 529, thus, no prior, <br />special or general statute shall be construed to authorize or <br />prevent the disposal of public records at a time or in a <br />manner different than prescribed by such chapter or by Laws <br />1971, Chapter 529 and no general or special statute enacted <br />subsequent to Laws 1971, Chapter 529 shall be construed to <br />authorize or prevent the disposal of public records at a time <br />or in a manner different than prescribed in this Chapter or <br />in Laws 1971, Chapter 529 unless it expressly exempts such <br />records from the provisions of such chapter and Laws 1971, <br />Chapter 529 by special reference to this section,' and <br />WHEREAS, The Minnesota Clerks and Finance Officers have developed a <br />standard records retention schedule for records common to most Minnesota <br />Municipalities which has been approved by the Minnesota Department of <br />Administration, the Minnesota Historical Society, the Minnesota State <br />Auditor and the Minnesoat Attorney General, and <br />WHEREAS, the classification of records as herein described are included <br />in the above mentioned Records Retention Schedule' <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the L ino Lakes City Council does <br />
