216 Council Meeting April 23, 1984 ENGINEER's REPORT Mr. Davidson preewnted the feasibility reports for Eva Street and the street to the North and for the extension of Maple Street. The owners of the property had received this report this evening. The owners of the Eva Street property does not want this to be a City project, however, they had asked MR. Davidson to do the engineering work and he had told them he did not work for private developers, just for the City. Mr. Marier moved to accept the feasibility report on Eva S treet and the Street to the North now designatded at 133rd Street and to enter into a developer's contract for the completion of these streets. Seconded by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimoulsy. Mr. Davidson presented the feasibility report on the request to extend Maple Street for 400 feet West of the existing surface. He pointed out the provisions for water storage provided in this report. This has been requested as a City project. Mr. Marier moved to aceept the feasibility report for Maple street and to set a public hearing for May 14, 1984 at 9:05 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimosuly. RESOLUTION #84 -17 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted the 26th day of March, 1984, a report ahs been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the following described improvement; the surfacing of Maple S treet, 400 feet West from the existing surface. and this report was received by the Council on the 23rd day of April 1984. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1 The C ouncil will consider the above described improvement in accordance with teh report of the City Engineer and the assessment of benefited property for all of the costs of the improvement pursuant to Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. 2 The estimated unit price of such improvement is $35.88 per from foot. The estimated total cost of the project is $21,200.00. 3 A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on May 14, 1984 in the Council Chambers at the City Hall at 9:05 P.M. The City Clerk shall cause this resolution to be published twice, at least one week apart, in the official newspaper of the City, no less than two weeks prior to the date of said herains. and in addition thereto, a copy of this resolution shall be mailed to each benefited property owner at their last known address at least two
