216 <br />Council Meeting <br />April 23, 1984 <br />ENGINEER's REPORT <br />Mr. Davidson preewnted the feasibility reports for Eva Street and the <br />street to the North and for the extension of Maple Street. <br />The owners of the property had received this report this evening. The <br />owners of the Eva Street property does not want this to be a City <br />project, however, they had asked MR. Davidson to do the engineering work <br />and he had told them he did not work for private developers, just for <br />the City. <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the feasibility report on Eva S treet and the <br />Street to the North now designatded at 133rd Street and to enter into <br />a developer's contract for the completion of these streets. Seconded <br />by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimoulsy. <br />Mr. Davidson presented the feasibility report on the request to extend <br />Maple Street for 400 feet West of the existing surface. He pointed out <br />the provisions for water storage provided in this report. This has <br />been requested as a City project. <br />Mr. Marier moved to aceept the feasibility report for Maple street and <br />to set a public hearing for May 14, 1984 at 9:05 P.M. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimosuly. <br />RESOLUTION #84 -17 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted the 26th day <br />of March, 1984, a report ahs been prepared by the City Engineer with <br />reference to the following described improvement; <br />the surfacing of Maple S treet, 400 feet West <br />from the existing surface. <br />and this report was received by the Council on the 23rd day of April <br />1984. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1 The C ouncil will consider the above described improvement <br />in accordance with teh report of the City Engineer and the <br />assessment of benefited property for all of the costs of <br />the improvement pursuant to Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. <br />2 The estimated unit price of such improvement is $35.88 per <br />from foot. The estimated total cost of the project is <br />$21,200.00. <br />3 A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement <br />on May 14, 1984 in the Council Chambers at the City Hall <br />at 9:05 P.M. The City Clerk shall cause this resolution <br />to be published twice, at least one week apart, in the <br />official newspaper of the City, no less than two weeks <br />prior to the date of said herains. and in addition thereto, <br />a copy of this resolution shall be mailed to each benefited <br />property owner at their last known address at least two <br />
