1 1 May 29, 1984 233 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order May 29, 1984, at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Benson with all Council members present. Also present, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Kluegel, and Mrs. Sarner. MINUTES - May 14. 1984 Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of May 14, 1984 as presented. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried with Mayor Benson abstaining. DISBURSEMENTS - May 29. 1984 Mr. Kulaszewicz had several questions on the disbursements which were answered by the City Clerk. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the dis- bursements as presented. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion carried unanimously. OPEN MIKE There was no one to appear under this portion of the agenda. PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ACTIONS Mr. Kluegel requested that a public hearing be set for June 25, 1984 to consider the rezoning request of Bastien Products. Mr. Bohjanen moved to set a public hearing for June 25, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Benson asked if these residents were aware of the fact that if soemthing should happen to their home, it could not be replaced and Mr. Kluegle said, Yes, they are aware of that fact. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - Mr. Halstad - Kennel License. Mr. Kluegel requested a public hearing be scheduled for this consideration. Mr. Marier moved to set a public hearing for June 25, 1984 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Marier made the comment that the Planning and Zoning Board should be advised this type of con- sideration is becoming much too frequent. Mr. Kulaszewicz suggested a meeting be scheduled with the Planning and Zoning Board in order to make the Council's concerns known. Mayor Benson agreed and said this could be discussed under new business. SITE AND BUILDING PLANS - JAMES PROPERTIES - Mr. Kluegel noted these plans had been reviewed by the Planning adn Zoning Board and they had recommended approval. Mr. Davidson had reviewed the on -site septic system and the Council has a copy of those recommendations. After some discussion, Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the site and building plans per the Planning and Zoning Board's recommendations. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Kluegel gave a status report on the various projects in process to include The 49 Club, Mr. DuFours' home, Maudie's and A Well. There was some discussion on the progress at Maudie's and Mr. Marier moved that all items should be completed by June 15, 1984.
