234 <br />May 29, 1984 <br />ATTORNEY' S REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins presented the revised version of the firearms ordinance. <br />He went through the proposed changes explaining the reasons for the <br />changes. <br />The Council had quesions on parts of this ordinance and after some <br />discussion on this document, they felt they needed some clarification <br />on some of the points. Mr. Marier moved to table this item until the <br />next Council agenda. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />unanimously. In the meantime, Chief Myhre and Mr. Hawkins will go over <br />this revision. <br />RESOLUTION #84 -21 <br />RESOLUTION TERMINATING CONSIDERATION OF EXTENSION F MAPLE STREET <br />WHEREAS a petition was received by the City Council for the <br />extension of Maple Street from the existing surface <br />400 feet West, and <br />WHEREAS, the petition was received and a creasibility report ordered <br />by the City Council, and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the feasibility report, a public <br />hearing was scheduled for May 29, 1984 at 9:05 P.M., and <br />WHEREAS, before the hearing, the pe titioner filed with the City <br />a written request to withdraw his petition. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA, that <br />per the request of the petitioner, all consideration of this project <br />be terminated. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 29th day of May, <br />1984. <br />119 &1444e-A-2 <br />Edna L. arner, City Clerk <br />Ben <br />G. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CHIEF MYHRE1'8 MEMO <br />There was discussion on Number 5 - Mr. Marier felt that any materials <br />used should be replaced by the officer at the end of his shift. He <br />felt this should be a departmental policy. <br />
