Mr. Marier moved to approve the <br />Resolution 84 -29 and waive the reading. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Davidson also asked the Council if they would at this time consider <br />authorization of payment to Allied Blacktop $29,542.48 for seal coating. <br />Mr. Marier moved to authorize payment. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CIRCLE PINES GAS FRANCHISE - ORDINANCE 84 -10 <br />Mr. Reinert moved to waive the first reading and adopt Ordinance 84 -10 - <br />Circle Pines gas franchise. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 10 - 84 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX E, ORDINANCE NO. 28, BY INCREASING THE <br />FRANCHISE AREA GRANTED TO THE CITY OF CIRCLE PINES TO OPERATE <br />A GAS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENTS. Section 2 of Ordinance 28, Appendix E, of <br />the Lino Lakes City Code is amended to read as follows: <br />SECTION 2. The grantee shall construct, maintain and operate or <br />otherwise provide a modern and adequate gas distributing system for <br />the furnishing of, and /or distribution of gas in said City. The <br />area within which grantee is granted a franchise to construct and <br />operate a gas distributing system is shown on the map attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof. No extension of line shall be <br />made beyond the boundaries indicated on such map without approval <br />of the Lino Lakes City Council and such extension must be shown <br />to be economically feasible. The aforementioned economic feasi- <br />bility is to be shown in a report presented to the City Council <br />and the grantee by a qualified gas engineer. <br />SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be effective after <br />its passage and publication as required by the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />Passed this 24th day of September, 1984, by the Lino Lakes <br />City Council. <br />ATTEST: <br />
