054 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 22, 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order by Acting Mayor, Mr. Reinert, at 7:00 P.M., on Monday, <br />July 22, 1985. Present: Kulaszewicz, Marier, Bohjanen. Absent: <br />Mayor Benson. Also present were City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br />City Administrator, Randall Schumacher; Building Official, Peter <br />Kluegel; City Engineer, John Davidson; Secretary, Shar Foster. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular meeting 7/8/85 - Mr. Marier moved and Mr. Kulaszewicz <br />seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the 7/8/85 Council <br />meeting as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Special meeting 7/10/85 - Mr. Kulaszewicz moved and Mr. Marier <br />seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the 7/10/85 joint <br />meeting between City Council, Economic Development Committee, <br />Park Board and Planning and Zoning Board. Motion carried with <br />Mr. Bohjanen abstaining. <br />CONSIDERATION OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved and Mr. Marier seconded the motion to approve <br />the disbursements of July 22, 1985. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />Estimate of Cost to Review Reshanau Lake Water System <br />Per Mr. Davidson's request, this item was moved to this time slot. <br />Mr. Davidson explained that the issue of TKDA preparing an <br />estimate of cost to review the water system in the Reshanau <br />Lake area was brought about by the concern by City staff for <br />increased development and restricted capacity of the system. <br />TKDA can do an evaluation study and take any records that the <br />City makes available to find out the needs and the future needs <br />in this area. <br />Mr. Marier voiced his concern that the the estimated engineering <br />cost is stated in TKDA's 7/3/85 memo to be between $500 and <br />$1,000. He felt that this was quite a wide range. He was also <br />concerned that the City has done previous studies on this sub- <br />ject, which should make TKDA's task much easier. Mr. Marier <br />seemed to recall two such previous studies, and suggested that <br />the City make these studies available to TKDA. <br />MOTION: Mr. Marier moved to submit any previous related studies <br />to TKDA and then request that TKDA return with a cost estimate <br />to review the water system in the Reshanau Lake area. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Mr. Schumacher stated that he <br />was familiar with one previous study and would make that study <br />and any other related study available to Mr. Davidson.
