Since it is a <br />requirement, Mr. Schumacher took the liberty to request an esti- <br />mate of the cost of the audit from the City auditor, Voto, <br />Reardon, Tautges & Co. A July 11, 1985 reply from the firm <br />states that such an audit would cost a fee not to exceed <br />$1,500. <br />MOTION: Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to request that Voto, Reardon, <br />Tautges & Co. perform the revenue dl aring audit at a cost of under <br />$1,500. Mr. Marier seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />City Depositories <br />Mr. Schumacher referred to a list of City depositories which <br />the City is currently using for investments. When appointments, <br />etc. were being made earlier in the year, these City depositories <br />should have been considered, but were overlooked. At this time <br />Mr. Schumacher felt that the Council should go through the formality <br />of approving these depositories. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve those City depositories which were <br />listed - Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, First Bank <br />of Minneapolis, Midwest Federal, Bank of Mpls. & Trust Co.,. <br />F & M Corporate Banking Service, Merrill Lynch, First Bank of <br />St. Paul, First State Bank of Hugo (Lino Lakes Branch), Twin <br />City Federal, American National Bank, Government Guarantee Funding. <br />Mn Kulaszewicz seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br />Remodeling Old Council Chamber <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz stated that Mayor Benson would want to be present <br />for any discussion of remodeling the old council chamber... Mr. <br />Schumacher said that he would like to mention a few things with <br />regard to this issue. <br />MOTION: Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to table this item of remodeling <br />the old council chamber until Mayor Benson is present for dis- <br />cussion. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Mr. Reinert said <br />there would be no discussion. The motion carried unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Reminder of Upcoming Meeting <br />The Council was reminded by Mr. Reinert that there will be a <br />meeting on July 25 for the Council. Mr. Reinert mentioned that <br />he may not be available to attend. <br />Insurance Coverage <br />Mr. Schumacher mentioned for the Council's information that <br />the insurance carrier the City has had has notified the City <br />that they will not be renewing the Police Professional or <br />
