1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETI NG <br />September 9, 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Benson at 7:04 P.M., September 9, 1985. <br />Council members present: Bohjanen, Reinert, Marier. Mr. Kul - <br />aszewicz arrived at 7:10 P.M. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br />Building Official, Pete Kluegel; Acting City Engineer Bob Tod - <br />die and Clerk- Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />City Administrator, Randy Schumacher was at a Park Board Meeting <br />and arrived at 7:20 P.M. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES AUGUST 26. 1985 <br />Mrs. Anderson noted an error on page thirteen (13) first line; <br />the first line should read "Mr. Reinert moved..." Mr. Reinert <br />moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Mr. Marier seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />August 31, 1985 - Mr. Reinert moved to approve the Disbursements <br />as presented. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />September 9, 1985 - Mr. Marier asked that the disbursement to <br />Central Auto Parts be held until Mr. Volk can tell the Council <br />why the windows in the two vehicles were replaced and why the <br />costs were so high. Mr. Marier also asked about the disbursement <br />to Battery and Tire Warehouse. He would like an explanation of <br />why the costs for tires and windshield cleaner were so high. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the Disbursements and hold the Dis- <br />bursement to Central Auto Parts for further explanation. Mr. <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Mr. Kulaszewicz questioned the Dis- <br />bursement to Audio Communications. Mrs. Anderson explained that <br />this was due to the sale of several city vehicles. The radios were <br />removed from the cars that were sold and placed in vehicles cur- <br />rently being used. <br />On the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />A. Diane Harberts - Senior Transportation - Ms. Harberts has sent <br />the Council a memorandum outlining the results of the Senior Trans- <br />portation Survey for Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino <br />Lakes and a recommendation that the City Council approve a joint - <br />sponsored senior transportation program and appoint a committee to <br />review and select the different components of the program. <br />Mayor Benson asked if some of the costs of this program can be <br />obtained from the Community Development Block Program. Ms. Har- <br />bert said that this is an option. Also the County has secured <br />087 <br />
