1 COUNCIL MEETING December 9, 1985 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Acting Mayor Reinert. Council members present: Marier, Kulaszewicz, Bohjanen. Mayor Benson was absent. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Engineer, Bob Toddie; Pub - lic Works Director, Don Volk; Chief of Police, Dean Campbell; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present. Mr. Bisel was in the audience. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NOVEMBER 25. 1985 Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as presented. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried with Mr. Kulaszewicz and Mr. Bohjanen abstaining. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS November 30, 1985 - Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve these Disburse- ments as listed. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. December 9, 1985 - Mr. Marier moved to approve these Disbursements as listed. Mr. Kulaszewicz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. OPEN MIKE No one appeared under Open Mike. Mr. Reinert explained that Mr. Toddie has another appointment at 8:00 tonight and asked for the Engineer's Report at this time as well as other items that involve the Engineer. CONSIDERATION OF THE DISPOSITION OF OUTLOT "F ". LAKES ADDITION #3 The Council had asked Mr. Toddie to determine the cost of dividing or replatting this lot so that the title could be transferred to adjoining property owners. There may be twenty -six (26) lots that would be affected by this and he suggested the best way to handle this would be to draft a replat of Outlot "F ". The work involved would be surveying, hardshells and recording instruments. This would cost approximately $860.00. The next step would be to place monuments and this could be optional. The total cost would be approximately $1300.00 to $1400.00. There was further discussion. The City Clerk had contacted the County Auditor to determine if there were any back taxes on the property. There were none. However, if the City wishes to ob- tain title to Outlot "F" and then sell or give it to the adjoin- ing property owners, the City would have to pay a fee for the Outlot. The fee is determined by County Commissioner Margaret Langfeld. She would work with the City in determining the amount, it could be nominal.
