COUNCIL MEETING February 10, 1986 COUN NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 275 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with • of t _ z in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement of Rice Lake Estates according the the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to:all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the sucessful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract is signed. Anderson Clerk - Treasurer Mr. Toddie stated that a pre- construction meeting will be held after the appropriate paperwork is in order (about two to three weeks from this evening). Mr. Marier suggested that this meeting include the City Administrator and the Public Works Director. Discussion on the Status of 80th Street - Mr. Toddie said that in discussing this issue with the Anoka County engineer's office, he has learned that the County is planning on a schedule of fall /winter of 86 for the preparation of plans and specificiations and fall /winter of 87 for construction. Mayor Benson suggested that because there seems to be a misunder- standing of this schedule (Council feels that an earlier schedule had been promised by the County), that a letter be sent to the County Commissioner and Board explaining the fact that the Council feels that the County has made a commitment to Lino Lakes and that the Council expects to see that commitment met, and request a response to be received before the next Council meeting.
