• <br />• <br />• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />AGENDA ITEM 6Aiii <br />Michael Grochala <br />July 23, 2007 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 07 -110, <br />Authorizing Preparation of Feasibility Study, <br />77th Street Realignment Project. <br />ACTION REQUIRED: 4/5 Vote <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Lino Lakes is currently considering the sale of city owned property Tying <br />immediately north of the existing 77th Street. As part of the consideration for the sale <br />the City is contemplating the realignment of 77th Street to match into the existing <br />signalized Market Place Drive intersection. <br />TKDA, the City's Engineer, has submitted a proposal to complete a feasibility study for <br />the proposed roadway improvements. TKDA is proposing to complete the study for a <br />cost of $11,600. The study is proposed to be funded, on an interim basis, from the <br />Economic Development and Planning budgets. It is anticipated that, if the project <br />moves forward the feasibility study costs will be recovered from the project financing. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 07 -110. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
