Council MemberCarlsonintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA RESOLUTION NO. 07-146 RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING RECEIPT AND DESIGNATION OF MEMORIAL HOSPITAL DISTRICT FUNDS WHEREAS, the Memorial Hospital District was dissolved in 2006 and distributed its remaining funds to constituent municipalities of the District; and, WHEREAS, the District strongly encouraged the recipients to use the funds for healthcare purposes; and, WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes, as one of the constituent municipalities received a distribution of funds in December, 2006, in the amount of $17,383 from the District; and, WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has identified uses for the funds that it feels meet with the spirit of the Districts request and wishes to designate the funds for such uses. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota: 1) Recognizes and accepts the distribution of funds from the Memorial Hospital District. 2) Designates the funds for the following purposes and amends the 2007 budget as follows: Revenue/Source Memorial Hospital District Distribution Amount $17,383 Expenditure/Use Account Amount Alexandra House — 2008 Request 101- 401 - 4452 -000 $ 6,613 Forest Lake Youth Services Bureau — 101- 401 - 4452 -000 5,150 2008 Request Blue Heron Days — 2008 Request 101- 401 - 4452 -000 5,620 nne Bartell, City Jerk Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of September, 2007. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Carlson, Reinert, O'Donnell, Stoltz, Bergeson The following voted against same: none Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. -321- Reinert
