AGENDA ITEM 2E
STAFF ORIGINATOR Al Rolek
•
MEETING DATE September 10, 2007
TOPIC Consideration of Resolution 07 -146 Recognizing Receipt and
Designation Of Memorial Hospital District Funds
VOTE REQUIRED
Simple Majority
In December, 2006, the City received a distribution of funds from the Memorial Hospital District in
the amount of $17,383. The District has dissolved and has distributed their remaining funds,
partially the result of residual tax levies, on a pro-rata basis to the constituent cities in the District.
This distribution was receipted in 2006 and is included in our budget surplus and fund balance at
the end of 2006. The City Council has reviewed this distribution and the District's
recommendation for its use, and has made a determination as to how the funds should be utilized.
Resolution 07 -146 formally recognizes and accepts the Memorial Hospital District funds and
designates their use by the city. Staff recommends the adoption of Resolution 07 -146.
1. Adopt Resolution 07 -146.
2. Retum to Staff for further review.
Option 1
•
-32k-
