Prepare Preliminary Design of Well 6 <br />a. Conduct 0 survey of site if necessary <br />b. Consult utility mapping for connecting infrastructure and compliance with Part 4725,4450, <br />Distances from Contamination Source, of the MN Well Code <br />c. Meeting with staff <br />• Ascertain future pumphouse requirements <br />• Consider future water treatment raw water collection routing and sizing <br />• Discuss anticipated geologic profile, proposed well sizing, and preferred construction methods <br />(i.e. cable tool) and acceptable experienced drilling Contractors <br />• Discuss well design alternatives <br />• Locate Well 6 on the site <br />• Review schedule, updates as necessary <br />3. Develop Contract Documents for Bidding <br />a. Meet with staff or obtain a clear understanding of City standards of the Construction <br />Contract, including: <br />• Division 1 requirements <br />• General conditions <br />• Minority involvement <br />• Prevailing wage <br />• Prepare preliminary cost estimate for completion of Well 6 <br />b. Complete MDH Plan Review and submit for approval <br />c. Complete DNR application <br />d. Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, and required drawings for <br />public bidding <br />e. Print and bind sufficient copies for City staffsreview and Stantec QA/QC <br />f. Revise and final documents <br />Design with community in mind <br />
