CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-53 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT LEASE FOR <br />RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AT WATER TOWER #1 <br />WHEREAS, The Centennial School District (CSD) is requesting to lease space at Water <br />Tower #1 to install a Radio System which is an integral component of their strategic plan <br />to transition to a district -wide Radio Communications System; and <br />WHEREAS, This improved system will allow CSD staff to communicate with all head <br />custodians, grounds and snow removal personnel, and have communications capabilities <br />within each building and between buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, The Radio Communications System will also be an important component of <br />the CSD's Emergency Communication System; and <br />WHEREAS, The agreed upon lease amount is $300 per month. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director is directed to enter into a lease agreement <br />with the Centennial School District for the installation of a Radio Communications <br />System at Water Tower #1. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of June, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
