Mr. Kye would be <br />100 working on expanding the city's recycling efforts. <br />101 <br />102 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the hiring as recommended. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />104 <br />105 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />106 <br />107 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br />108 <br />109 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />110 <br />111 5A) Resolution No. 14-51, Authorizing Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Well <br />112 Construction of Well #6- Public Services Director DeGardner reported on his recommendation to <br />113 proceed with construction of an additional well as called for in the city's water system plan. He is <br />114 recommending that the city utilize the services of Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. to prepare the <br />115 necessary plans and specifications for construction of the well, as they have worked well on past city <br />116 projects in this area. The cost of the project would be funded through the city's Trunk Area and Unit <br />117 fund. <br />118 <br />119 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 14-51 as presented. Council Member <br />120 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />121 <br />122 5B) Resolution No. 14-52, Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Well #6 Pumping <br />123 Facility - Public Services Director DeGardner reported on his recommendation that the city utilize the <br />124 services of WSB & Associates to prepare the necessary plans and specifications for construction of <br />125 the pumping facility that will be a required for new Well #6. The cost of the project would be funded <br />126 through the city's Trunk Area and Unit fund. <br />127 <br />128 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 14-52 as presented. Council Member <br />129 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />130 <br />131 5C) Resolution No. 14-53, Approving Centennial School District Lease for Radio <br />132 Communications System at Water Tower — Public Services Director DeGardner reviewed the <br />133 request of the school district to lease space on the city water tower for their communication needs.
