CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 14-62 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PAID ON-CALL FIRE RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has decided to integrate fire services into the Public Safety Department; and WHEREAS, the recruitment of high quality paid on-call fire professionals essential for all fire services; and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes values those individuals who have accepted the challenges of providing public safety services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that the City does hereby establish an incentive program to recruit paid on-call fire professionals as listed below. Level 1 Milestones Total Incetive Est. 2015 Budget Est. 2016 Budget 2014: (Payable in 2015) $3,000 $17,000 $34,000 attending recruiting meeti ngs meeting in 2014. Must apply as for Paid On -Call Firefighter with Lino Lakes by 4 PM on July 31, 2014 Must have successful completed Firefighter 1 & 2 and Hazardous Materials Must actively participate in the recruitment of and training of new Lino Lakes fire personnel by Must actively participate in the fire service implementation process and attend at least three planning IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $1,000 ON JANUARY 15, 2015 2015: (Payable in 2016) training and mentoring of new Must meet all milestones articulated for 2014. Must actively participate at eight meetings to assist in the continuing implementation process, Ensure the implementation process is successful by the January 28, 2016 "go live" date. IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $2,000 ON FEBRUARY 15, 2016 Level 2 Milestones Total Incetive Est. 2015 Budget Est. 2016 Budget 2014: (Payable in 2015) $4,000 $6,000 $10,000 with duties of fire Must apply as for Paid On -Call Firefighter with Lino Lakes by 4 PM on July 31, 2014. Must have all certifications and training to operate as a fire command staff or fire officer. Assist Public Safety management team with the successful fire implementation in a manner consistent IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $1,500 ON JANUARY 15, 2015 2015: (Payable in 2016) with duties of fire Must meet all milestones articulated for 2014. Assist Public Safety management team with the successful fire implementation in a manner consistent Ensure the implementation process is successful by the January 28, 2016 "go live" date. IF ALL MILESTONES ARE MET THE MEMBER WILL RECEIVE $2,500 ON FEBRUARY 15, 2016
