Novemner 26, 1979 <br />37 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., November 26, 1979, by Mayor Karth. Council members present; <br />Kulaszewicz, McLean, Schneider, Zelinka. Absent; None. Mr. Locher, Mr. <br />Gotwald and Mr. Schumacher were also present. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to approve the minutes of November 13, 1979 as pre- <br />sented. Seconded by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: <br />..Approval of the W &G Rehbein plat, Peltier View, had beeb received from <br />the Rice Creek Watershed Board. Mr. McLean moved to continue the public <br />hearing on this plat to December 10, 1979 at 8:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />..A resident had called asking the procedure for selling Christmas Trees <br />from his yard on Pines Street - The Clerk is to tell this resident that <br />he must obtain a Special Use Permit. <br />..Mr. Mobley's resignation as Building Inspector effective Jaunuary 1, <br />1980 had been received. <br />..Homestead Credit, Attached Machinery Aid, Mobile Home Homestead Credit <br />and the fourth quarter State Aid Check in the amount of $54,492.62 had <br />been received. <br />..Municipal fines for the month of October was $1232.50. <br />Mayor Karth presented two bids for the moving of Mr. Shcumacher. After <br />omparing the bids, Mr. McLean moved to accept the bid from Global Van <br />Lines in the amount of $1,935.29. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />declared passed. <br />Mr. McLeam presented the following actions from the Planning and Zoning <br />Board meeting held on Nomveber 21, 1979. <br />The Arena Acres plat had been considered. There is more information <br />needed. Consideration of this plat was tabled until the information <br />is received. <br />Mr. Dale Ramsden had applied for a special use permit for the parking of <br />commercial equipment in a residential area. The equipment consists of <br />1 truck, 2 rollers and a paver. There is to be a building to house this <br />equipment. There was discussion of requiring a rezoning of this land but <br />it was felt this would be handled in the updating of the Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan. Planning and Zoning had recommended approval of the requet. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve a special use permit for the storage of <br />commercial equipment in a residential area at 502 Lilac Street, special <br />use permit to have an issue date of:July 1, to be reviewed annually on <br />that date and the permit is non - transferrable. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Motion dedlared passed. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Christianson had applied for a special use permt for <br />a kennel License for the breeding and raising of Collie Showdogs at 261 <br />Elm Street. Signatures of the surrounding property owners had been ob- <br />tained. The adult dogs are 'de- barked'. Mr. McLean moved to approve a <br />special use permit to be non - transferrable - with a maximum of 8 adult <br />dogs - with a July 1 issuance date - to be reviewed annually on that date. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />The Forest Glen Plat had not been considered. <br />Mr. Tim Rehbine had applied for a special use permit to use one -half of <br />a proposed duplex as an office and model home.
