Novemner 26, 1979 37 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:00 P.M., November 26, 1979, by Mayor Karth. Council members present; Kulaszewicz, McLean, Schneider, Zelinka. Absent; None. Mr. Locher, Mr. Gotwald and Mr. Schumacher were also present. Mr. Schneider moved to approve the minutes of November 13, 1979 as pre- sented. Seconded by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: ..Approval of the W &G Rehbein plat, Peltier View, had beeb received from the Rice Creek Watershed Board. Mr. McLean moved to continue the public hearing on this plat to December 10, 1979 at 8:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. ..A resident had called asking the procedure for selling Christmas Trees from his yard on Pines Street - The Clerk is to tell this resident that he must obtain a Special Use Permit. ..Mr. Mobley's resignation as Building Inspector effective Jaunuary 1, 1980 had been received. ..Homestead Credit, Attached Machinery Aid, Mobile Home Homestead Credit and the fourth quarter State Aid Check in the amount of $54,492.62 had been received. ..Municipal fines for the month of October was $1232.50. Mayor Karth presented two bids for the moving of Mr. Shcumacher. After omparing the bids, Mr. McLean moved to accept the bid from Global Van Lines in the amount of $1,935.29. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. McLeam presented the following actions from the Planning and Zoning Board meeting held on Nomveber 21, 1979. The Arena Acres plat had been considered. There is more information needed. Consideration of this plat was tabled until the information is received. Mr. Dale Ramsden had applied for a special use permit for the parking of commercial equipment in a residential area. The equipment consists of 1 truck, 2 rollers and a paver. There is to be a building to house this equipment. There was discussion of requiring a rezoning of this land but it was felt this would be handled in the updating of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Planning and Zoning had recommended approval of the requet. Mr. McLean moved to approve a special use permit for the storage of commercial equipment in a residential area at 502 Lilac Street, special use permit to have an issue date of:July 1, to be reviewed annually on that date and the permit is non - transferrable. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion dedlared passed. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Christianson had applied for a special use permt for a kennel License for the breeding and raising of Collie Showdogs at 261 Elm Street. Signatures of the surrounding property owners had been ob- tained. The adult dogs are 'de- barked'. Mr. McLean moved to approve a special use permit to be non - transferrable - with a maximum of 8 adult dogs - with a July 1 issuance date - to be reviewed annually on that date. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. The Forest Glen Plat had not been considered. Mr. Tim Rehbine had applied for a special use permit to use one -half of a proposed duplex as an office and model home. He would provide off
