January 14, 1980 55 1980 at 7:30 P.M. This si a Mayor's meeting to discuss the Metro Council. Mayor Gourley will attend as will Mr. Schumacher. Mr. McLean asked the status of the Building Inspector. Mr. Schumacher said the new inspector will start on January 21, 1980. Mr. McLean also questioned the status of the Arbor Lake Plat and felt that the Park dedication of that plat has never been dealt with. This matter should be discussed before this plat is presented for final approval... Mr. McLean felt that he and a couple of members should get together with Mr. James Hill for discussion of this matter. Mayor Gourley asked Mr. McLean to set up a meeting and he will also attend. Mr. McLean asked the status of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Mayor Gourley said the overall plan is approximately 30 days behind schedule. There is a special meeting on January 23, o980 and the rough draft should be presented at that meeting. This meeting will convene at 8:00 P.M. The date for the first public hearing will be set at this meeting. Mr. McLean asked about the old tank sitting out behind the building. He proposed this be disposed of. Mr. McLean moved to have Mr. Shcumahcer dispose of this piece of equipment. Seconded by MR. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. McLean also asked that a City priority list be put on the next agenda This deals with City services. Mr. McLean moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz, Mr. Locher interrupted to tell the Council that Mr. Johnson of Pine Oaks had an extension to January 9, 1980 for the presentation of the final plat. Mayor Gourley moved to grant an extension until the next meeting. Mr. McLean withdrew his motion to adjourn and Mr. Kulaszewicz withdrew his second. Mayor Gourley's motion was seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Locher had one other item. He reported thatt.Mr. Ken Rehbein had obtained a release of an easement over Mr. Brian Dobie's land to the South and has filed this document. Mr. Locher felt this should be a part of the consideration of the plat of Arean Acres. He will leave a copy of this . at the City Offices. Mr. Schumacher noted a meeting on February 20, 1980 sponsored by the League of Minnesota Cities. He plans to attend this meeting and hopes members of this Council can attend. The meeting is from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Mayor Gourley will also attend. Mr. Schumacher requested permission to contact Mrs. Pope to transcribe the minutes of Park Board and Planning and Zoning Board. Mayor Gourley asked if there had been an advertisement for a typost. The Council requested Mr. Schumacher to advertise for a typist. Mayor Gourley moved to authorize Mr. Shcumacher to advertise for atypist to transcribe the minutes of the Park Board and the Planning and Zoning Board. Seconded by Mr; Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Aye
