Council members pre-
sent; Elsenpeter, Kulaszewicz, Jaworski, Absent, McLean. Mr. Locher,
Mr. Gotwald and Mr. Schumacher were also present.
The minutes of January 14, 1980 were considered. Mr. Jaworski moved to
approve. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed.
The disbursements were considered. Several questions were answered on
bills. Mr. Jaworski suggested these bills have a disignation as to what
they are for. Mr. Schumacher made several corrections on the amounts.
He also noted that payment for memoscriber was in these disbursements.
Mrs. Elsenpter moved to approve this purchase. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz.
Motion declared passed. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the disbursements.
Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion declared passed.
Mr. Schumacher presented Ordinance #32 and 32A which deals with the park-
ing and sotring of vehicles in a residential area. This matter had been
presented at the last Planning and Zoning Board meeting. The problem on
County Road J and Baldwin Lake Road has been cleaned up to the satis-
faction of the residents.
Mr. Schumacher presented the actions of the Planning and Zoning Board,
The first item to be considered was Arena Acres. The matter of a dead
end street butting up to Andall Street was discussed. Andall is a private
street and must be dedicated to the City beforeait can become a City Street.
The Park didication was also discussed. The Park Board had asked for Lot
7 to be dedicated to the City and the developer construct 2 tennis courts
and a tot lot. Mr. Rehbein agreed to construct 2 double tennis courts
according to City specifications and to grade the tot lot, It will be the
responsibility of the City to provide the nets, posts and fence for the
courts and to install the play equipment on the tot lot.
The names of the streets msut be cahged - the numbered streest do not line
up with the existing pattern of the City.
Mr. Jaworski moved to set a public hearing on the plat of Arena Acres for
March 10, 1980 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared
passed.
The Forest Glen Plat was considered. This plat has received approval
several years ago but had not been presented to the Council for fina;
approval. The developer must then start all over agin. The Planning and
Zoning Board had found no problems with this plat with the excetion
that approval of the Rice Creek Watershed Board should be updated also,
as wekk as a ketter frin tge Anoka County Highway Department since some
of the lots face a County Road.
Mr. McLean arrived at 8:15 P.M.
