F4 February 11, 1980 since this is an informational meeting only and Mr. Locher agreed there was no problem, as long as there was no budiness conducted. Mayor Gourley thanked Mr. Scherer for attending this meeting and assisting with the Park Board minutes. Mr. Schumacher announced a League meeting on February 20, 1980 discussing many items that are of interest to this Council. This is an all day meeting and felt this is a good meetng for Council to attend. Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 9:35 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Aye. These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular scheduled meeting held on March 10, 1980. Re: Edna L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer RESOLUTION Permit Number MN 0044423 BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, takes the position that there is no City opposition to the three (3) Year extension and reissuance of an existing NPDES Permot to continue discharge into the designated receiving waters as issued to the Minnesota Department of Corrections. However, the City wishes to also stress that the existing facility is only temporary and the Mennesota Department of Corrections should go on record as conceeding this and committing the Department for support of Minicipal Improvements and to hook up to such, as soon as feasible, to a minicipal sewage system of Lino Lakes, after same is constructed, and to pay its fair share thereof. Further that the City of Lino Lakes does request a hearing to solidify the above and to examine the present operations. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of Februaru, 1980. Council members present, Kulaszewicz, Elsenpeter, Jaworski, McLean. Anseng: None. Mr. Locher, Mr. Gotwald and Mr. Schumacher were also present.
